Someone gifted me pepto bismol from abroad and my stomach has been upset lately. Im 11 weeks. Not going to take anything without asking my gynac, but wanted to know if any of u were told its safe.
I get the stomach trouble is miserable, I lived through it. But for things like that I always asked my doctor first instead of grabbing OTC stuff. They gave me something safe. Please do the same.
I wouldnt take that without doctor approval. There are safer options they prescribe for acidity and stomach upset in pregnancy. Just call your gynac and tell them your symptoms before taking anything.
Pepto bismol is generally not recommended in pregnancy, especially later, so please dont take it on your own. Ask your gynac, they'll suggest a safe alternative for your stomach issue.
Better to avoid it unless your doctor specifically okays it. For pregnancy related acidity or upset stomach the gynac usually recommends something safer. Dont self medicate with it na.
