MIL flatly refused to let me eat pineapple saying it causes problems in pregnancy. I love it though and im in my 2nd trimester. Is it actually unsafe ya just a myth? pls share ur experience.
Pineapple! Yum! I've been craving all the tangy fruits. I heard the whole "pineapple causes contractions" thing is mostly a myth unless you eat, like, 7 whole pineapples. So a few slices here and there should be perfectly fine to satisfy that craving! Just enjoy it in moderation.
Oh, pineapple! 🍍 There's this old wives' tale that it causes contractions, but that's usually only if you eat like, an entire truckload of it! 😂 In normal, moderate amounts, it's perfectly fine and full of Vitamin C. Enjoy it, but don't overdo it! ✨
This is such a common question, even I heard these stories about pineapple! My bhabhi said she ate it without any issues during her pregnancy, but then some internet articles say no. So confusing! What quantity do people usually say is okay, if any?
I totally understand your concern, every little thing we eat makes us anxious during this precious time. The old tales about pineapple are usually exaggerated. In moderation, it's generally considered safe. Just remember to listen to your body and your doctor's advice, and try to enjoy your pregnancy without too much worry.
Oh god, pineapple. I'm in my third trimester, and if pineapple could actually induce labor, I'd probably be eating a whole one right now just to get this baby out! 😂 But seriously, in normal amounts, it's safe. No need to stress about a few slices.
The pineapple question comes up so often! Scientifically, the amount of bromelain in a normal serving of pineapple is unlikely to cause any issues. So, a small portion should be fine. However, if you're worried or have a sensitive pregnancy, it's always best to get an okay from your gynac.
