I've been craving pizza like crazy lately, but I'm trying to be careful about what I eat during pregnancy. Is it okay to have pizza sometimes, or should I avoid it completely?
Currently in my 3rd trimester and pizza is the only thing that keeps me happy! Cooking is way too tiring right now, so ordering a hot cheese pizza is my ultimate therapy. Just eat it fresh, baby wants what baby wants!
I used to literally overthink every single pizza topping because of the fear of infections! Just make sure the cheese is fully melted and you order from a very hygienic place. Having it once in a while is totally safe, so please don't stress yourself out.
Honestly, there is absolutely no harm in eating pizza during pregnancy. Just order from a good, clean brand and make sure it is delivered piping hot. I had it quite a few times when I was too tired to cook, absolutely normal.
Oh, I felt so guilty whenever I craved pizza in my early months! Honestly, my doc told me it's totally fine to eat occasionally as long as the cheese is pasteurized and it's served hot. Just don't overdo it, enjoy a slice or two to happy your mind!
Ordering pizza often can get really expensive, especially when we have so many scans and hospital bills to plan for. I used to make healthy pizzas at home using whole wheat roti, fresh veggies, and clean cheese. It is much cheaper, safer, and satisfies the craving perfectly.
