Mom got a whole basket of plums and im craving them honestly but my MIL said be careful with sour fruits in pregnancy. Im in my second trimester. Just wondering if its actually fine to eat or not.
Yes plums are fine and quite good, fibre and vitamin C. I had them in moderation both pregnancies. Just wash properly and eat fresh ones, nothing overripe.
They are nutritious but do carry natural sugar, so I kept the portion small once I had GD. If your sugar is fine you can enjoy a couple. Just keep an eye on quantity and ask your doctor if you have GD.
Plums were my craving for weeks, so juicy and tangy yaar. They are good, lots of vitamins and they helped my digestion. Just wash them well and dont eat a whole kilo in one go like I almost did haha.
