Is possible to conceive 1 week before your period?

Trying to understand my cycle properly. We were together about a week before my period was due and now im wondering about the chances. Is conceiving even possible at that time?

It is highly unlikely if you have a regular 28-day cycle, as ovulation happens mid-cycle. But if your periods are irregular, you can definitely conceive at odd times.
