Is pregnancy possible after tubal ligation?

I got my tubes tied after my second baby few years back. This month my period is late and now im panicking a little. Has it ever happened to anyone even after ligation?

Please take this seriously, because a pregnancy after ligation has more risk of being ectopic, which needs urgent care. If you have a missed period with one sided pain, see a doctor at once. Better to check early than wait.

It is rare but yes, pregnancy can occasionally happen after tubal ligation, and there is a slightly higher chance of it being ectopic. So if you ever miss a period after the procedure, take a test and see your doctor. Dont assume it is impossible.
