We are trying to conceive and im tracking my cycle this month. Got a bit confused with the whole timing thing. If we were together a couple days before my ovulation date, can it still happen? Trying to understand how it works.
I was also confused about this. They told me the few days leading up to ovulation are the best chances, not just the exact day. So yes it can happen before.
Yes, my gynac explained the fertile window is actually the days just before and the day of ovulation, because sperm survive up to about 5 days. So before ovulation is actually a high chance time.
From what I read while trying, sperm can live a few days inside, so if u have sex a day or two before ovulation pregnancy is possible. The egg releasing later still meets them. We timed it like that actually.
Haan my tracking app marked the days right before ovulation as the most fertile ones. Sperm waits for the egg basically. So yes pregnancy before ovulation day is very much possible.
