My gynac put me on duphaston this cycle and im a little confused about how it works. We are trying to conceive so im hoping it doesnt stop anything. Anyone here got pregnant while on it?
My doctor explained duphaston is a progesterone support often used while trying or in early pregnancy, so pregnancy is very much possible on it. She said never stop or change it on your own. Just take it exactly as prescribed and ask her any doubt.
Yes, in my journey duphaston was actually given to support the pregnancy, not to prevent it. My doctor prescribed it during the early weeks. So conceiving while on it is possible, just follow your doctor's exact instructions, sending you hope.
With my PCOS my gynac gave duphaston to regulate things and support conception. It's not a contraceptive. But everyone's reason for taking it differs, so please go by why your doctor put you on it.
