Is pregnancy ultrasound done empty stomach?

Got my first scan tomorrow morning and the clinic didnt tell me anything about eating or not. Should i go empty stomach or full bladder wala? bit confused, pls help.

No fasting needed. I did my regular walk, had breakfast, and went for the scan, but check with your doctor's clinic beforehand about water intake.

I was so worried about this too and called the clinic twice to double-check. No fasting is needed, just eat normally and drink water if they ask you to.

I am preparing for my first scan next month. Do they always ask you to hold your pee, or does it depend on which week you are in?

Haha absolutely not! In fact, for early scans they make you drink a gallon of water so you have a full bladder, I was literally crying to pee!

I felt so relieved when they told me I could eat breakfast before going. Having a full tummy actually kept me calm during my first scan.
