Is progesterone suppositories safe during pregnancy?
Doc ne mujhe progesterone suppositories likhe hai because of some spotting in early weeks, im around 8 weeks now. Thoda nervous hu using them daily. Has anyone used these, were they okay for u?
I felt so scared when my doctor prescribed them, thinking why do I need medicine. But my gynac explained they help secure the baby, and eventually, I felt so much more relaxed.
They are very safe and support the pregnancy lining. I took them regularly as advised by my doctor, and only did very light walking since my body needed rest.
These are hormonal supports and should only be taken if your gynac has recommended them. Never start or stop them on your own, always follow your doctor's exact instructions.
I used them during my first trimester and they gave me so much peace of mind. It can feel messy, but it's all for your precious little baby, so stay strong mama!
Yes, they are highly safe and commonly prescribed to support pregnancy. I had them too, and alongside that, I had to keep my diet clean and low-carb to manage my sugars.
They are absolutely safe if your doctor has prescribed them. Just make sure you lie down for 20-30 minutes after taking them so they get absorbed properly, even if you are busy with work.
I was prescribed progesterone suppositories immediately in my next pregnancy to prevent any risks. They are a lifesaver, but please strictly follow the dosage your gynac told you.
