My gynac mentioned progynova in my last visit and i've been trying to conceive for almost a year now. Just trying to understand how it helps before my next appointment. Has anyone here conceived with it?
Honestly this depends a lot on your individual case, my doctor decided it after checking my scans and hormones. I wouldnt say it directly helps everyone conceive, its used for particular situations. Best to ask your gynac why and whether you need it.
This is a hormonal medicine that should only be taken under a doctors guidance, not based on community advice. If someone prescribed it to you, ask them how it fits your plan. If youre just exploring, please consult a gynac first.
It was part of my treatment cycle, prescribed by my fertility doc for a specific reason to do with the lining. But its not something to start on your own, it has to be guided by a doctor based on your reports. Please dont self start it.
We are also trying and my doctor mentioned medicines only after my tests. I learnt not to take anything just because it worked for someone else. Maybe get your check up done and let the doc decide whats right for you.
