I get a lot of nausea and pudina water somehow makes me feel a little better. But then i got scared if having it daily is okay during pregnancy. Anyone been told by their doc about this?
As a herb in regular cooking pudina is generally considered fine and good for digestion. The caution is only about large medicinal doses or mint oil. If you want to use it as a remedy regularly, just check with your gynac.
Pudina really helped my nausea, I used to sip pudina water and chew a few leaves and it settled my stomach. In normal food amounts its good. Just dont overdo concentrated mint stuff.
We use pudina in chaas and chutney at home and it was fine for me, even helped with that heavy feeling after meals. Moderate amounts are good. Anything beyond food quantity, just ask the doctor okay.
Beta pudina in normal cooking amounts, like in chutney or buttermilk, is fine and even soothing for the tummy. Just avoid taking strong mint oils or large amounts. In food quantity its perfectly okay.
