I had a really bad acidity at night and my mum gave me a ranidom tablet from home, then later i remembered im pregnant. Now im a little worried if it was ok to take. 10 weeks. Will ask my gynac too but wanted to know if anyone took it.
When I had bad acidity my doc said some ranitidine type medicines were pulled back a while ago for other reasons, so she gave me a different safe one. So really depends what your doctor prescribes. Show her the strip and she will tell.
I get the acidity is annoying, mere saath bhi tha. But self medicating in pregnancy is something I always avoided. One quick call to your gynac and you will have a safe option.
Honestly I would not guess on this one. Acidity meds can vary and what suited me before pregnancy wasnt allowed during. Pls ask your gynac before taking it.
Amma used to say drink cold milk for acidity and it actually helped me thoda. But for any tablet, please check with your gynac first. They know whats safe right now in pregnancy.
Don't take any acidity medicine on your own yaar, even if someone says its mild. Ranidom type tablets my gynac changed for me in pregnancy. Just call your doctor and ask, they will give the right one.
