I love eating raw tomatoes in salads, but now that I'm pregnant, I'm reconsidering everything I eat. Is raw tomato good for pregnancy, or should I stick to cooked vegetables? I want to make sure I'm making healthy choices.
When I was staying at my parents' place, my mother used to make a fresh tomato and cucumber salad for me every afternoon. She always soaked the tomatoes in warm water first to clean them thoroughly. It is very refreshing and helps with hydration too.
Oh my god, I had a massive craving for raw tomatoes with black salt and lemon juice during my first trimester! It totally helped with my morning sickness and metallic taste. Just wash them nicely and enjoy your snack, it's very healthy!
Tomato khana toh bahut accha hai, isse khoon badhta hai. Bas dhyan rakhna ki acche se dhokar khao aur thoda kala namak dalkar khao toh acidity nahi hogi. Ghar ka saf sutra khana hi sabse best hota hai.
I love raw tomatoes and eat them in salads almost every day, so I was wondering if we have to stop eating them during pregnancy. Good to know they are safe as long as they are washed properly! Thanks for sharing this.
Raw tomatoes are great for vitamin C, but please make sure you wash them extremely well to remove any soil or bacteria. After my previous loss, I became very careful about raw salads and preferred eating cooked veggies instead. If you have any doubts, just ask your doctor once.
