Im just 7 weeks and my saas keeps telling me to start kesar milk daily for the baby's colour and all. But i read somewhere it might not be good this early? thoda confused hu, is it actually safe in starting months?
Honestly, I completely avoided kesar in my 1st trimester because of the fear of body heat. Now that I am in my 2nd trimester, I have just one strand. Did anyone else's doctor tell them to avoid it in early weeks?
Saffron is good but definitely not in the early weeks as it is quite warm. I only had it from the second trimester onwards and had a very smooth, normal delivery. Keep things simple and talk to your doctor.
I felt so confused about this because everyone gives different advice. But my doctor clearly told me to avoid kesar in the early weeks because it can be warm for the body. I only started it after my 5th month.
My saas was pushing me to drink kesar milk from day one, but my mom told me to wait until the second trimester. Actually, kesar increases body heat, so it is better to avoid it in early pregnancy. Ask your gynac first.
Kesar is great, but don't eat it by the spoonful expecting a baby with a filters-on fair glow! Jokes apart, avoid it in the first three months because it can cause uterine contractions. Better safe than sorry!
