Craving chinese so badly these days, especially schezwan noodles. But that sauce is so spicy and red, worried it might be too much. anyone had schezwan during pregnancy and was it fine? second trimester here.
Honestly the cravings for chinese were strong haha. I had schezwan occasionally but kept it light coz of all the spice and ajinomoto in the bottled ones. Maybe make a milder version at home.
Actually I had schezwan noodles sometimes during pregnancy yaar, a little is fine. It is just very spicy and has some additives, so dont go overboard or it gives acidity. Homemade is better than the very oily street one.
I craved spicy stuff but schezwan gave me bad heartburn during pregnancy. A small amount once in a while was ok for me. Just listen to your tummy, if it triggers acidity then skip it.
