Just found out im around 6 weeks pregnant and its our first. Honestly a little scared it might harm the baby this early since everything feels so delicate right now. Can someone share their experience, is it safe in the beginning?
In a normal healthy early pregnancy its generally considered safe, it doesnt harm the baby. But if you have spotting, cramping or a history of miscarriage, doctors often advise caution. So the best answer for you specifically comes from your gynac.
Dont stress about it being harmful, in a smooth pregnancy its usually okay. Just listen to your body, if something feels off stop and rest. A quick chat with your doc clears all the doubts.
If everything is normal, its fine and wont hurt the baby. Many women just dont feel up to it early on because of nausea and tiredness, thats normal too. If you have any risk factor though, ask the doctor first.
I would be a little careful in the first trimester and check with your doctor first. In my case I was told to avoid it early due to some bleeding. Every pregnancy is different, please dont go only by general advice.
