Im in my second trimester now and both of us are kind of hesitant. MIL keeps hinting we should avoid it. I just want to know what others actually do, is it fine or no?
In a low risk pregnancy doctors usually say it's okay and the baby is safe inside. But if there's placenta issues, bleeding or risk of preterm, they may advise against it. Best is a quick honest chat with your doctor.
It can be safe, but it really depends on your pregnancy. I was told to avoid it because of some bleeding I had. So please just confirm with your own gynac, specially if you've had any spotting or are high risk.
Dont overthink it yaar, for most normal pregnancies it's safe and even good for bonding. Just be gentle and listen to your body. One word with your gynac and you'll feel relaxed about it.
For a normal healthy pregnancy it's generally fine, my gynac said so too. We just kept it comfortable and stopped if anything felt off. Every couple is different, so it's okay to go by what feels right for you.
