Me and my husband are a bit scared to be intimate now that im pregnant. We dont want to harm the baby in any way. Is it actually safe or should we wait? curious what others feel about this.
Haha the baby is way deep inside chilling in its own bubble, it has no clue. As long as doc said you are low risk, relax and enjoy. Just maybe skip if you are too tired which honestly is most days in pregnancy.
Generally yes if pregnancy is uncomplicated, the cervix and fluid keep baby safe. Stop and check with doctor if there is bleeding, pain or cramping after. Comfort positions change as belly grows, you will figure out na.
For me doctor advised to avoid it in first trimester because i had spotting and a low lying placenta. So please dont take general advice here, it really depends on your case. Always ask your own gynac before anything.
I totally understand the worry, i was scared too thinking i will harm the baby. My doctor reassured us it is fine in a healthy pregnancy and that talk eased my mind so much. Just communicate openly with your partner and your doc.
In a normal healthy pregnancy it is generally safe, the baby is well protected. But every pregnancy is different so please confirm with your gynac, especially if you have any complications or history. Mine gave a clear green signal so we were relaxed.
