First trimester here and both me and my husband are a little nervous about this. We dont want to do anything that could harm the baby. Bit shy to ask my gynac directly so asking here, what was ur experience?
For a normal healthy pregnancy it is generally safe, I was fine both times. The only time to avoid is if your doctor has told you about bleeding, low placenta or other concerns. When in doubt just ask your gynac directly, they have heard it all.
Honestly in most uncomplicated pregnancies it is okay. But if you have any history of complications or your doctor has advised caution, then follow that. Best to confirm with your gynac based on your own case.
In my case the doctor had asked me to avoid it because of some spotting, so it really depends on your situation. Please dont go just by general advice. Ask your own gynac, they know your reports.
Dont stress too much about it yaar, for a healthy pregnancy its usually fine. Just listen to your body and comfort. And if anything feels off, a quick word with the doc settles it.
