Im a total seafood lover and prawns are my weakness, but since i got pregnant i stopped eating just out of fear. Now craving is killing me. Is well cooked shrimp actually fine or better to avoid completely?
I was so scared of food poisoning, so I avoided seafood completely. But actually, low-mercury fish like cooked shrimp is perfectly safe and healthy if clean.
Shrimp is good but buying fresh can get expensive. I balanced my budget by having eggs and local small fish, which are also highly nutritious and cheaper.
I couldn't stand the smell of seafood during my first trimester! But if you aren't nauseous, cooked shrimp is great for protein, just make sure it's completely boiled.
