From last few nights im just not able to sleep properly, tossing and turning. My period is a couple days away. Could this be an early sign or am i just reading too much into it?
I remember crying at 3 AM because I couldn't sleep and thought something was wrong with my baby! My doc later told me it's totally normal because of hormonal shifts. It gets better, don't worry.
With my PCOS, my sleep cycle was already a bit erratic, and pregnancy hormones made it worse. I found that doing light evening stretching helped me relax a bit. Hope you get some rest!
Hormones can definitely disrupt your sleep, and later on, the baby bump makes it hard to get comfortable. Try using a pregnancy pillow, it was a total gamechanger for my sleepless nights.
It can definitely be an early sign due to progesterone changes. Just listen to your body and try to rest as much as possible, even if you can't fall asleep deeply.
Oh god, insomnia is real during pregnancy! But don't stress too much about it, your body is just adjusting to all the new hormones. Try to catch up on sleep during the day whenever you can.
