Is smelling naphthalene balls harmful in pregnancy?
We keep those white balls in our almirah and the smell hits me everytime i open it. Now im actually worried whether it affects the baby. Anyone know if i should remove them, im 16 weeks.
Yes dear, it's best to avoid smelling naphthalene balls or any strong chemicals during pregnancy. They contain strong toxins that aren't good to inhale. Use natural camphor or neem leaves in your cupboards instead.
Strictly avoid inhaling naphthalene fumes. It contains chemicals that can be harmful for the developing baby. Keep your cupboards open for fresh air and throw those balls out for now.
I had a very sensitive nose during my pregnancy and stayed far away from all chemical smells. Even post C-section, I kept things natural. Please avoid naphthalene as those fumes are quite strong and toxic.
I felt this intense urge to smell weird cleaning products when I was pregnant, but my mom stopped me. Inhaling naphthalene can be dangerous for the baby's health, so please stay safe and avoid it.
Since my PCOS made conceiving hard, I was extra cautious about everything. Naphthalene balls have chemicals that are known to be harmful, so I completely removed them from my home. Better to be safe.
Oh god, pregnancy nose makes us crave the weirdest smells, but please stay away from naphthalene! It's super toxic. Better to sniff some fresh lemons or cardamom instead, haha!
