My husband says ive started snoring suddenly which never happened before. Im hoping i might be pregnant, period is bit late. Is this actually a thing or am i just overthinking?
I also started snoring during my third trimester because of the extra pressure on my chest and nasal passage. Raising my head with an extra pillow really helped me breathe easier. It's quite common, so please don't feel embarrassed.
Increased blood flow can swell the nasal passages, which leads to snoring in many pregnant women. While it is quite a normal physiological change, if you feel gasp for air or extreme fatigue, it's best to consult your doctor to rule out gestational issues.
Oh my god, I am in my 7th month and my husband literally recorded me snoring the other night! I was so shocked because I never snored before. Is anyone else also facing this nose blockage?
Haha, yes, my husband still teases me about how loudly I snored when I was pregnant! My toddler is two now, but back then, it was just the nasal congestion and weight gain. It completely stopped after delivery, so don't worry.
Snoring can sometimes happen due to congestion, but please monitor your blood pressure too. Sometimes, sudden snoring or trouble breathing can be linked to high BP during pregnancy. Just mention it to your doctor in your next scan visit to be absolutely safe.
I felt so bad when my husband told me I was snoring like a train in my last trimester. I actually cried because everything felt so out of control. But it is just our body working so hard for the baby, it went away right after birth.
