I dont eat much non veg so i make soya chunks curry often for protein. Now someone told me soya is not good in pregnancy and im confused. Is it okay to keep eating, how much?
I had thyroid in pregnancy so my doctor told me to keep soya limited, not banned but not in large daily quantity. In moderation its a fine protein. If u have thyroid pls confirm with ur own doc.
Soya chunks are so affordable and high protein, great for the budget. I added them to pulao and curries. Just keep portions normal, dont rely only on soya, mix it up.
Soya chunks are a good protein source, I ate them in moderation during pregnancy. Just dont overdo it daily, balance with dal, eggs, paneer etc. Cook them well and soak properly first.
I use soya chunks for protein since Im veg, my gynac was fine with it in reasonable amount. I dont eat them everyday though, I rotate my protein sources. Ask ur doc if u have thyroid as soya in excess can interfere.
