Im veg and soya chunks are like my main protein source. Now someone scared me saying soy is not good in pregnancy. Im 16 weeks. Is it actually safe to eat regularly or should i cut down? pls share.
Yes, it is totally safe and highly nutritious. Just eat it in moderation, like once or twice a week, don't overdo any one food. It's a great veg protein option.
Soybean is actually a super cheap and amazing source of protein, much cheaper than expensive supplements. I used to add it to my diet to save on fancy food bills while keeping my nutrition high.
I understand being scared of every single food item, I was exactly the same. But rest assured, soybean is perfectly safe in normal food amounts, so please don't stress over it.
I'm currently in my 2nd trimester and had soy chunk curry yesterday, but now I'm overthinking if it's safe. Did any of you eat soybean regularly during your pregnancy?
