My period is a couple days away and ive been noticing this sticky kind of discharge that feels different from usual. We are trying so my mind is overthinking everything. Did anyone notice this before getting a positive?
I noticed this too in my early weeks and got curious! But my gynac said discharge alone cant confirm anything. Did u also have a missed period? Thats the more reliable thing to watch.
My doctor explained that increased sticky or white discharge can happen in early pregnancy due to hormones, but it also happens in a normal cycle. So its not definite. A test after missed period is the only sure way she said.
I read into every little symptom when we were trying, drove myself mad honestly. Discharge changes are so common they confused me each month. Save urself the stress and just test when period is missed, much easier.
It can be, some women notice changes in discharge early on. But honestly it happens around ovulation and before periods too, so its not a confirm sign. Best to just take a test if ur period is late.
Some discharge is normal but if its coloured, smelly or itchy, please get it checked with ur gynac, that could be an infection. For confirming pregnancy though, only a test will tell, not discharge.
