We made suran ki sabzi at home and i ate a little before remembering im pregnant now. It always made my throat itch even before pregnancy so im thoda confused. Anyone had suran during these months?
My MIL makes suran ki sabzi often and she gave it to me also during pregnancy, said it's good for digestion. Just have it cooked well and not in huge quantity. Worked fine for me.
I used to second guess every veg too. Suran is normally okay if cooked well, but if u have any gas or acidity issue it might bother u a bit. When I was unsure I just asked my gynac and felt relaxed, u can do that too.
Haan suran is fine, it's just a vegetable. Only thing, cook it properly because raw or undercooked it can cause that scratchy throat feeling. I ate it both pregnancies, no issue at all. Moderation is the key word like everything.
Suran (yam) we cook at home normally, and I had it in pregnancy too in small amounts with no problem. Some people get throat itchiness from it, so cook it well with tamarind or lemon. If u have no issue with it otherwise it should be fine, but ask ur doctor if unsure.
