My feet swell up so much by night now, im in my 7th month. Shoes also not fitting properly. Is this just a normal pregnancy thing ya should i mention it to doc?
My mummy and maasi used to tell me that feet swelling is normal when you're expecting. They always made me sit with my feet up! It helps a lot. But they also said if it gets too much or spreads, then definitely to tell the doctor immediately. So keep an eye on it and talk to your gynac.
A little bit of swelling is quite common, especially as you get further along. I found that staying active with gentle walks (after doctor's approval, of course!) and keeping myself really hydrated helped a lot. Also, elevating your legs can make a difference. But if it feels excessive or sudden, do check with your gynac.
Haan na, thoda sa swelling in feet is very common in pregnancy, especially in later months. My feet used to get swollen too! Try to keep your feet elevated when you sit and don't stand for too long. If it's too much or sudden, then just ask your doctor, haan?
Oh, darling, it's so natural to worry about every little change during pregnancy. Swelling in feet is a very common experience for many of us. But because every pregnancy is unique, it's always safest to just mention it to your doctor. They can give you the best guidance and peace of mind.
Yes, mild swelling, or edema, in the feet and ankles is quite normal during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester. It's due to increased blood volume and pressure on veins. My doctor said to elevate feet, stay hydrated, and avoid prolonged standing. However, sudden or severe swelling, especially in hands or face, needs immediate medical attention as it could indicate pre-eclampsia.
