Had a bad headache today and was about to take panadol then stopped myself. Im 9 weeks and dont want to take anything that could harm baby. did your doctors okay it during pregnancy? just want to be sure.
Paracetamol based ones are generally allowed, I took it for fever after doctor said ok. Just dont pop it like candy. One quick call to your gynac and you are sorted.
Panadol is paracetamol, which my doctor said is usually the preferred choice in pregnancy for fever or pain. But she stressed only when needed and at the right dose, not casually. Please confirm with your own gynac before taking.
I can only say my doctor prescribed it to me for body ache and it was fine. I wont advise on medicine beyond that. Please check with your own doctor about the dose.
