Is there a lot of white discharge in early pregnancy?
Im 6 weeks and suddenly the white discharge has increased so much, have to change panty liner twice a day. No itching or smell or anything, just lot of it. Is this a normal pregnancy thing or should i be worried? Anyone else got this early on?
Don't take tension dear, this is very common. My mother told me its the body's way of protecting baby and my doctor said same thing actually. Just watch that it stays white and odourless.
Oh good someone asked this, I was wondering too. I'm in my 4th month and the discharge has increased so much, did anyone else have this in 2nd trimester also? Reading these replies makes me feel less worried honestly.
Yes it increases, happened with both my pregnancies. The hormones make it more, thats it. Just keep yourself clean and use cotton panties, you'll be fine.
Milky white is usually okay, but pls note the colour and smell. If it turns greenish or yellow or starts itching, dont ignore, go to your gynac because that can be infection. Better to get checked once just for peace of mind.
I felt so confused about this in my early weeks. There was definitely more white discharge than usual and I kept thinking something was wrong, but my gynac said its totally normal in pregnancy. As long as its milky white and not smelly, relax.
