Is there any chance of pregnancy after getting periods?
Me and my husband are kind of confused about this. I got my normal period this month but we are trying for a baby. Is there still any chance of being pregnant even after a proper period came? thoda doubt in my mind.
If you had a proper full period, then no, that usually means you are not pregnant from the previous cycle. But you can definitely conceive in the new cycle around your fertile days. A normal period generally rules out the earlier pregnancy.
I had what I thought was a light period but it was actually spotting and I was pregnant. So if your flow was much lighter than usual, maybe test to be sure. A normal heavy period is different though.
A real period normally means not pregnant from before. But careful, some women confuse light spotting for a period, that is different. If you had a normal flow you are usually fine, but a test clears doubt.
