Is there any other reason for a positive pregnancy test?
I got two faint positive tests but my period kind of came after, so im super confused. Can something other than pregnancy make the test show positive? feeling anxious and just want to understand whats happening before i see my gynac.
There are a few rare reasons like medications or medical conditions, but they are uncommon. The right step is a beta hcg blood test through your doctor. That clears all doubts.
Please dont rely only on the kit, in rare cases things like an ectopic can also show positive. I had a scare once so I always say confirm with your gynac and a scan. Better to be sure early.
Sometimes a recent miscarriage or certain fertility injections can give a positive, also a faulty kit. But mostly a clear positive means pregnant. If you are confused just go for a blood test, it is more reliable.
