Im around 9 weeks and noticing more white discharge than usual, kind of milky. Nothing itchy or smelly but its making me a little anxious since this is my first time. Is this just a pregnancy thing or should i mention it to my gynac?
Oh thank god, I noticed this and got worried it was something wrong. So a little white discharge is okay? I was almost going to panic, did others have it too?
Totally normal beta, dont worry. Just keep the area clean and dry and wear cotton underwear. Only if it smells bad or itches, then get it checked, otherwise it is just pregnancy doing its thing.
Yes, a mild milky white discharge is very normal in pregnancy, I had it both times. It is your body's way of protecting against infection. But if it turns green, smelly, itchy or has blood, then call your gynac.
My doctor called it leukorrhea and said it is normal due to increased estrogen and blood flow. As long as it is white or clear and not itchy or foul smelling, it is fine. She told me to report any color change or burning though.
