Im a little confused tbh. I got my periods this month but they were thoda lighter than usual and now im wondering if pregnancy is still possible even with bleeding? Anyone been through this?
Ghar pe saas bhi bolti hain ki kuch ladies ko pregnancy mein thoda bleeding hoti hai jise 'blood periods' bolte hain local language mein. But strictly, period pregnancy mein safe nahi hai. Doctor ko dikhana zaroori hai isme risk mat lo.
Actually proper period cannot happen if you are pregnant, though light bleeding or implantation spotting occurs sometimes. Don't do any self exercise or walking if you are bleeding without asking your gynac first. Rest complete karo aur doctor se pucho.

Technically, once you conceive, your body stops shedding the uterine lining, so actual periods are impossible. However, subchorionic hematoma or cervical irritation can cause bleeding that looks like a period. Please get an ultrasound done to confirm baby's safety.
