My reports came back and gynac said my thyroid is slightly off, now im a bit worried. Is this something that happens to a lot of pregnant women or should i be really concerned? Anyone else got thyroid issues during their pregnancy?
My gynac said many women get thyroid issues in pregnancy and thats why they test TSH early on. She told me untreated it can affect baby so they monitor it closely. Mine was borderline and they just kept rechecking it.
Yes its quite common actually, I had it too during my pregnancy. Doc put me on a small dose and checked levels every few weeks. As long as you do regular follow up its totally manageable, dont stress.
