My TSH came slightly high in the first report and gynac asked me to repeat it. Now im a bit tensed na, does thyroid actually harm the baccha or is it manageable? anyone here had thyroid in pregnancy, pls share how it went.
I just got diagnosed with mild thyroid and my doc started me on a low dose. Is it true that the dose keeps increasing as the pregnancy progresses? Thoda tension ho raha hai, do let me know if anyone else faced this.
Actually thyroid is super common nowadays yaar, literally half of my pregnant friends had it. Just keep checking your TSH levels every month and trust your gynac, nothing to panic about!
My gynac caught my high thyroid in the first trimester itself and started meds. Along with the pills, she allowed me to do mild prenatal yoga and daily walks which really helped keep my energy levels up, but definitely consult your doc first.
Ghar pe mummy aur saas thoda darr gaye the hearing the thyroid report, saying bahar ka mat khao or do some extra path. But honestly, my gynac said it is very common and taking the regular medication keeps it perfectly safe.
Currently in my 3rd trimester and waking up early morning just to pop that thyroid pill on empty stomach is the most annoying chore, haha. Otherwise it is totally fine, baby is kickin' and growing normally.
Hey, please don't take stress at all! ❤️ I also had high thyroid during my pregnancy but my doctor just gave one tiny tablet every morning. Baby is super healthy now so just take your meds on time and enjoy this phase! 😊
