We have a family wedding out of town and it needs a long road journey. Im 5 months pregnant and feeling okay mostly but the travel part is making me think twice. Did u all travel during this time, was it fine?
Depends on your pregnancy honestly. Mine was a bit high risk so my doctor advised against long travel. Please ask your gynac about your specific case, especially in the first and last trimester. Don't just go by general advice.
I'm in my 5th month and so nervous about a trip we planned. Did others travel fine in this time? My doctor said it should be okay with precautions, that calmed me a bit. Just wanted to hear others felt the same.
Travelling is usually fine, especially the second trimester which is the most comfortable time. I travelled both times in mid pregnancy. Take breaks, stay hydrated, keep your reports handy. Just clear it with your gynac before long trips.
I had work travel during mine. Short trips were okay, I just carried water, snacks and took stretch breaks. For flights I checked the airline rules and got a fit to fly note from my doctor. Plan it but don't avoid it completely if doc allows.
I travelled to my parents place in my fifth month and it was lovely and comfortable. Mid pregnancy felt the easiest. Just keep it relaxed, frequent breaks, and your doctor's okay before going. Being around family was so nice.
