We have to go to my mom's place and its a long train journey, im in my second trimester right now. Is it ok to travel like this or should i avoid? Pls share if anyone did train travel during pregnancy.
I travelled by train during my fifth month and it was a smooth experience. Just make sure to avoid lifting heavy bags and carry lots of water and clean snacks. Your doctor can give you the green signal based on your latest scan.
Since I had PCOS, my pregnancy was considered a bit high-risk, so I avoided any travel in the first trimester. If your pregnancy is smooth, trains are generally safer than cars because there are fewer jerks, but please ask your doctor before booking.
Train travel is actually very comfortable during the second trimester! 🚂 Just make sure to book a lower berth so you don't have to climb, and carry home-cooked food. Have a happy and safe journey! 😊
Hey, don't stress too much about train travel, it's actually much better than bumpy road trips! Just get a lower berth, take short walks in the aisle to stretch your legs, and keep yourself hydrated. You'll be totally fine, dear!
Please be extremely careful, especially in the early weeks. I lost a pregnancy before, so I became very cautious and avoided all non-essential travel completely. If you absolutely have to travel by train, please consult your gynac first and take full rest.
