We have a family function out of station next month and i'll be in my 5th month then. Its about 6 hrs by car. Feeling a bit unsure whether i should go or skip it. Anyone travelled around this time, how was it?
5th month is actually one of the best times to travel, the early sickness is gone and tummy isnt too heavy yet. I did a short trip both times. Just avoid very long bumpy road journeys and take breaks.
Go enjoy it yaar, 5th month is honestly the sweet spot. Just keep it relaxed, no adventure stuff, and dont stress too much. A little getaway will feel so good.
We did a calm temple trip in my fifth month and it was lovely actually. Family said this phase is comfortable and it was. Still, i checked with my doctor before booking, always nice to have that peace of mind.
For most women its fine in the 5th month, but since i had some issues i was told to be careful. Please confirm with your doctor based on your own pregnancy before planning, especially long trips or flights.
I travelled for work in my 5th month and it was manageable. Keep water and snacks handy, dont sit in one position for hours, stretch your legs often. And dont overpack the schedule, rest is important.
Generally the second trimester is considered the safest window for travel. That said, get a quick okay from your gynac first, especially before flights, and carry your reports along just in case.
