Doc gave me a combination medicine for swelling after a small injury and i saw trypsin written on it. Im 5 weeks along so thoda scared to take anything random. Has anyone taken this during pregnancy? will confirm with my gynac but wanted to know experiences.
I was prescribed some enzyme tablets for swelling after my C-section, but during pregnancy, everything is different. Please don't take it unless your gynac gives the go-ahead, safety first.
Honestly, don't take any risk with these names. Best friend advice? Just call your gynac and ask directly, don't stress too much but don't swallow any pill without checking first!
I don't think it's safe to take trypsin without a doctor's green light. When you're managing work and pregnancy, you don't want any health setbacks, so better drop a quick WhatsApp to your doctor and verify.
At my hospital, the doctors gave us a strict list of safe medicines and told us to call the desk before taking anything new. Trypsin might not be safe, so please ask your gynac clearly before taking it.
Uff, these scientific names make my pregnant brain freeze, and anyway my baby is currently kicking my ribs. But seriously, don't self-medicate right now. Ask your doctor, don't play chemist!
Honestly, why take any chances? Trypsin is an enzyme and usually not recommended during pregnancy unless your doctor specifically prescribes it. Just call your clinic and get it sorted, don't Google-diagnose.
