A pinch of turmeric in warm milk at night is absolutely fine and actually helps with body aches. Just don't go drinking raw turmeric juice or taking supplements. Keep it moderate, like we do in regular Indian cooking.

When I asked the clinical nutritionist at Cloudnine, she told me that standard kitchen haldi is totally fine in daily meals. But if you're planning on taking any herbal tablets with turmeric, definitely ask your gynac first.
I used to have a very tiny pinch of organic haldi in my milk during my third trimester, it helped me sleep so well. Even now during breastfeeding, it helps with my immunity. Just make sure the haldi is pure.
Haldi is fine in daily food, but please don't take those fancy turmeric lattes with lots of honey or sugar if you are watching your sugar levels. Always look at the overall ingredients you add to it.
