We use haldi in almost everything we cook na, so I never thought about it till my neighbour said too much is not good in pregnancy. Now im second guessing my normal dal and sabzi. Is regular cooking amount okay?
Honestly the everyday pinch in food is fine, that is what doctors mean by safe. If you are thinking of turmeric capsules or large quantities, then check with your gynac first. Normal khana is no issue.
Beta haldi in normal cooking is completely fine, we use it daily in our food. The warm haldi milk also I gave my bahu sometimes. Just dont take big medicinal doses of haldi without asking the doctor.
Turmeric as a regular cooking spice is totally safe, I used it all through both pregnancies. The concern is only with very high supplement amounts. In your dal and sabzi it is no problem at all.
