Period is 4 days late and im feeling this dull pain in upper pet area, not the usual lower cramps. Trying to figure out if this could be an early sign or im just overthinking. Anyone felt this before testing?
I remember having some upper belly pain which was actually severe gas, but after my C-section, I realized how important it is to report any kind of pain to the doctors. Please mention this to your doctor gently so they can check your BP and make sure everything is okay.
Actually, it could just be extreme acidity or bloating, which is super common, yaar. But upper abdomen pain can also be linked to other things like BP, so don't take it lightly. Better to just drop a message to your gynac and get it checked.
During my IVF journey, I learned to never ignore any new pain or symptom. Upper abdomen pain is not a typical early pregnancy symptom and could need a doctor's attention. Please reach out to your clinic so they can guide you safely.
Upper abdomen pain can sometimes just be acidity, but it can also be a sign of high blood pressure or other complications. Please don't ignore this and check with your gynac immediately. It is always better to be safe than sorry during pregnancy.
I had really bad burning and pain in my upper stomach during my second trimester, which turned out to be severe acid reflux. My doctor gave me some safe antacids which helped. I can only share my experience, so definitely ask your own doctor about what might be causing yours.
I totally understand how unsettling any kind of pain can feel when you are carrying your precious baby. Sometimes it's just your body stretching or bad reflux, but please don't take any chances, my dear. Do give your doctor a call just to put your mind at ease.
