Is upper abdominal pain a symptom of early pregnancy?

My period is 4 days late and im feeling a slight pain in the upper part of my stomach since yesterday. Not tested yet. Could this be an early sign or am i overthinking it?

I had a lot of upper tummy discomfort early on and it scared me, but it turned out to be gas and acidity mostly. Did anyone else feel this? Eating small meals helped me. Still I told my doc just to be sure.

I would be a little careful here. Upper abdominal pain isnt a typical early sign and can be acidity, but sometimes it needs a proper look. I had pain once that I brushed off and shouldnt have. If its persistent or sharp, please see your doctor.

Early pregnancy pain is usually lower, like mild cramps or pulling near the sides. Upper abdomen pain is more often gas or acidity which is super common early on. But if its sharp or strong, dont guess, get it checked by your gynac.

Beta in early days the upper pain is usually gas only, very common. Eat light, warm food and avoid too oily things, it settles. But if the pain is strong or doesnt go, dont sit at home, show the doctor.
