I sometimes feel slight cramping kind of feeling around my periods time and read somewhere they call it contractions. We are trying to conceive so im wondering if this is a good sign or something to worry about.
Mild cramps around ovulation can be normal for many women, nothing to worry about usually. But if the contractions are strong or painful, that is worth mentioning to your gynac. Better to get it checked than guess.
Cramping can happen for many reasons, especially with hormonal issues like mine. I wouldnt read too much into it as a good or bad sign. Just track it and tell your doctor at your next visit.
I would not ignore strong or repeated contractions before conceiving, it is better to get a checkup. I had something similar and it needed attention. Please see your doctor to rule anything out.
