Im feeling that burning and going to wash room very frequently, period is also a few days late. Wondering if this could actually be an early sign or just a normal uti. Did anyone notice this before getting their positive?
My amma always told me to drink plenty of water and not hold urine, and it does help. But burning sensation is not something to home-treat, so I always confirmed with my doc. Stay relaxed, it is very common and treatable.
My doctor explained that in early pregnancy hormones relax the urinary tract, so UTIs happen more easily. The peeing-a-lot feeling is a pregnancy thing, but actual UTI has burning, urgency, smell. She said always do a urine culture before assuming, so do that.
Honestly just carry a water bottle and don't skip washroom breaks at work, that prevents half the trouble. If you feel burning, do a quick urine test, results come same day mostly. Don't self diagnose between symptom and infection.
Please be a little careful with this one. I ignored a UTI thinking it was normal and it went up and troubled me later. Better to show your doctor and get a urine routine test instead of guessing.
I felt that burning feeling early on and got so scared. Turned out it was a small UTI, not really a pregnancy sign by itself. My gynac gave something safe and it settled, so please don't panic na.
UTI is not exactly a pregnancy symptom, but pregnancy makes you more prone to it. Frequent peeing happens in early days anyway. If there is burning or pain while passing urine, get a urine test done, simple.
