My nose is so blocked these days, second trimester and i cant sleep properly. i usually keep a vicks inhaler in my bag but now im not sure if its fine to use. is it ok yaar?
I'm in my third trimester and already struggling to breathe because the baby is pushing my lungs up, so a blocked nose is my worst nightmare. My gynac confirmed the normal Vicks inhaler is completely fine to use. It's the only thing keeping me sane right now!
Honestly, when you are pregnant and can't sleep because of a blocked nose, you get so desperate! Vicks inhaler was my best friend at night and my doctor said it's totally safe. Go ahead and get some sleep before the baby arrives and actually steals it forever!
I felt so miserable during my first trimester when I had a blocked nose, and I was so scared to use anything. My doctor said using a Vicks inhaler once in a while is totally fine, and honestly, that tiny sniff felt like absolute heaven.
My mother suggested drinking hot herbal water for my cold, but for the blocked nose, I asked my doctor about Vicks. She said inhaling it occasionally is perfectly fine, though steam with a drop of eucalyptus oil is even better. I trusted her and did both.
Having a history of PCOS made me super cautious about every small thing, so I avoided even inhalers in the beginning. But my gynac assured me that a normal Vicks inhaler is safe for temporary relief. Just don't overdo it, and use steam inhalation if you want a natural way.
