I like adding little vinegar in salad and noodles sometimes, but now I am doubting it. I am not taking it as medicine, just taste. Is normal food vinegar okay in pregnancy?
I had it in chutneys and noodles and stuff, no issue at all. It's just regular food then na. Only the whole drinking vinegar trend I skipped, didn't see the point while pregnant.
A little vinegar in cooking or salad dressing is fine, it's used in normal food anyway. Just dont go drinking spoons of it on empty stomach as some health trends say, that's not needed in pregnancy.
Beta in cooking it's no problem, we use it normally. But these days people drink it for weight or acidity which I wouldn't do during pregnancy. For acidity, cold milk is gentler and safer.
In normal food amounts vinegar is fine. The thing to avoid is unpasteurised or raw types and drinking it as a remedy. If u were thinking of apple cider vinegar shots, better ask your doctor first.
