Saw some multivitamins with vitamin A and got a little confused because somewhere i read too much of it isnt great in pregnancy. Im in my second trimester. Wanted to understand whether its needed or something to be careful about.
From what I understood, vitamin A is important but the dose matters a lot. Whatever your doctor prescribes in your prenatal is balanced for you. I wouldn't add extra on my own, best to stick to what the gynac advises.
My gynac told me a normal amount from food like carrots, papaya, leafy greens is good and needed. But she warned against taking high dose vitamin A supplements on your own as too much can be harmful in pregnancy. So food yes, random pills no, let the doctor decide supplements.
Beta eat your orange and yellow vegetables, gajar, papite ke alawa, these give it naturally. We never took separate tablets in our time. But don't take strong vitamin medicines without asking doctor, that I have heard is not good.
